Associate Portfolio Manager – Global Credit We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Portfolio Manager to join our Global Credit investment team, focusing on direct private debt/credit investments.
Responsibilities Engage as a member of the Deal Team to oversee and participate in due diligence, prepare investment reports, memos, and presentation materials.
Apply investment and credit knowledge to build and analyze complex financial models.
Conduct research and analysis on a broad range of topics to support investment decision‑making across various credit asset classes.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (risk, tax, legal, finance) to support deals and ongoing portfolio management.
Develop and generate periodic and ad‑hoc analyses using Capital IQ, Bloomberg, rating agency reports, and other sources to satisfy C‑suite, board, and client reporting requirements.
Contribute to ad‑hoc projects that support the Global Credit strategy and platform.
Support asset monitoring throughout the investment lifecycle.
Qualifications University degree in Business or a related discipline; CFA or MBA is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in private debt/credit, leverage loans, infrastructure debt, high‑yield debt,



transaction advisory, and/or investment or corporate banking.
Excellent quantitative, analytical, financial modelling, problem‑solving, and research skills with robust attention to detail.
Ability to deliver high‑quality outputs in a rapid‑paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple projects.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and build key partnerships.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and present information to internal stakeholders.
Proactive and initiative‑driven to understand, support, and implement goals and objectives.
Compensation & Advantages Base salary range: CAD 135,000 – 176,000.
Eligible for IMCO’s annual incentive plan.
