Senior Assurance Accountant
We are looking for a Senior Assurance Accountant to join our team. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals, united by a shared commitment to making a difference for our clients, communities, and each other.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute audit, review and assurance engagements

Prepare and review T2 (corporate), T1 (personal), T3 (trust) tax returns as well as T4/T5 summaries and slips

Prepare and review compilation engagement reports

Assist partners with tax planning and compliances

Mentor and train junior staff

Other accounting, tax, and administrative duties, as required

Qualifications

Canadian CPA designation

Cashflow experience

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public practice accounting and tax

Outstanding organization and communication skills

Ability to excel in high-pressure working environments





Can do attitude with the desire and ability to take on current tasks

Experience working in a team-based setting

The desire to grow your career in a mid-size public accounting firm

We are hiring for offices in Uptown, Westshore, or Sidney, BC.

Job Details
Job type: Full-time, permanent.

Schedule: Monday to Friday; flexible start and end times; 1 work from home day permitted per week.

Salary range: $65,000 - $90,000.
