Become a Senior Weapons Testing Expert with Babcock in Victoria, BC. Utilize your engineering background and testing experience to ensure the integrity of critical submarine systems.

In this permanent position, you’ll lead the testing of various submarine systems and act as a Test Director overseeing multi-disciplinary teams. We seek candidates with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, particularly in marine or weapons systems. Your role is vital in safeguarding national security and supporting the defense operations of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute acceptance and maintenance tests on submarine equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues
• Provide mentorship to less experienced Test Specialists




• Draft and assess test and safety documentation
• Identify risks and prospects during testing phases

Requirements:
• Technical degree or equivalent in related fields
• 8 or more years of technical experience required
• Marine or defense sector experience preferred
• AScT, CET, or EIT eligibility recommended
• Robust written and verbal communication skills
