In this vital interim role, you will report to the VP of Finance and oversee the Accounting Manager and team, ensuring accurate accounting information. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting to stakeholders, coordinating annual budgets, and collaborating with external auditors to enhance financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities: • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting data • Prepare financial reports for executive leadership • Coordinate quarterly external reporting with auditors • Lead corporate budgeting and forecasting processes • Present board meeting materials and respond to inquiries
Requirements: • CPA designation with at least 5 years of experience • Proven accounting leadership and management skills • Public practice experience is an asset • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to engage in process improvement initiatives
