Position Overview:

FlipThatTech is looking for a Junior Cell Phone Repair Technician with prior hands-on experience to assist our lead technician in daily repair operations. This is not a beginner position. Applicants must already have foundational repair skills and understand proper smartphone repair procedures.

You will complete independent basic repairs while supporting more advanced work under supervision. Quality, precision, and efficiency are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform screen, battery, charging port, and back glass replacements
Open and reseal devices properly without frame damage
Conduct full post-repair functional testing (camera, speakers, mic, WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular, etc.)
Diagnose common hardware issues




Maintain clean and organized repair stations
Assist with parts inventory and device intake
Ensure all repairs meet shop quality standards before release

Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 6–12 months hands-on phone repair experience
Experience repairing iPhone XR and newer models preferred
Understanding of OLED vs LCD screens
Solid attention to detail and steady hands
Reliable, punctual, and skilled

Requirements:
Must be able to commute to Brampton, Ontario
Weekend availability is an asset
