Join Summit Air as an Avro RJ Captain, prioritizing safety in yoru operations. Based in Calgary, AB, you will lead flights across Northern Canada with a focus on client service.
As part of Summit Air’s expansion, we are on the lookout for dedicated Avro RJ Captains who bring operational excellence and a commitment to safety. This role involves managing all aspects of flight, from adhering to regulations to ensuring the safety of operations throughout your journeys. Engaging in both pre-flight inspections and post-flight evaluations is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pilot Avro RJ aircraft safely and efficiently across Canada
• Keep current on weather conditions and flight briefings




• Validate all type A flight plans for flight accuracy
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections and complete post-flight processes
Requirements:
• Current Canadian ATPL with 4000 hours total flight experience
• At least 2500 hours MPIC and Jet aircraft experience is advantageous
• High Arctic and glass cockpit experience are a plus
• Must have a current passport for travel
• Proven communication and safety commitment needed
