Raytheon ELCAN is looking for a talented Precision Machinist to work in Midland’s prototype toolroom. This role involves manufacturing parts and tooling from high-detail drawings and operating CNC machines effectively. You will play a key role in assembling and troubleshooting components while ensuring adherence to safety standards. Candidates should have a robust understanding of GD&T; and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manufacture parts from drawings, CAD models, or verbal directions
• Set up and operate various machining equipment
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers and calipers
• Collaborate with the design team for optimizations
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker or similar certification
• 5+ years in machining or prototype settings
• Manual machining expertise, CNC experience is a plus
• Solid problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations
