The North Bay Regional Health Centre invites applications for a General Orthopaedic Surgeon to join its esteemed surgical team. In this permanent role, you will manage resources in the hospital’s operating room and provide outpatient services at the fracture clinic while being part of the Orthopaedic on-call roster. This position also facilitates an academic connection with NOSM University, enhancing both your surgical practice and teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing resources in the operating room
• Deliver emergency surgery and consultations as needed




• Contribute to the Orthopaedic on-call roster
• Teach and guide medical students and residents
• Address community orthopaedic trauma cases

Requirements:
• RCPSC certification in orthopaedic surgery
• Current CPSO independent licence in positive standing
• Fellowship training in hip and knee joint arthroplasty is beneficial
• Fellowship in orthopaedic trauma is a plus
• Experience in community-based orthopaedics required
