A temporary part time Inclusion Resource Teacher is needed at School District No. 60, starting September 1, 2026, to create meaningful educational experiences for all students. This position focuses on cultivating inclusive environments with an emphasis on direct and team-oriented support.

The selected candidate will be involved in a variety of inclusive practices tailored for students with diverse needs, particularly those experiencing autism and behavioral challenges. Engage with school teams and families to ensure students thrive academically and socially through well-planned instructional strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers to implement effective instruction
• Assess and monitor student progress and needs




• Design inclusive learning plans per diverse classroom dynamics
• Train and support team members in effective teaching strategies

Requirements:
• BC Teaching Certificate or eligible for issuance
• Master’s degree or coursework in Special Education
• Understanding of inclusive practices and differentiation
• Experience with wide-ranging student needs
• Willingness to undertake further training
