Lead transformative education initiatives as a Sexual Violence Prevention Educator at UBC. Promote a culture of consent while addressing sexual violence and gender-based harm within the university community.
In this crucial role, the Sexual Violence Prevention Educator develops and implements comprehensive strategies across UBC. This position requires collaboration with faculty, students, and stakeholders to effectively educate and respond to sexual violence issues and policies. A focus on creating an inclusive setting for diverse university populations is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sexual violence prevention education strategies • Coordinate and deliver training on UBC’s Sexual Misconduct Policies • Create tailored educational materials for wide-ranging audiences • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of prevention programs • Collaborate with community partners on prevention efforts
Requirements: • Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline • Minimum of five years related experience • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion • Excellent communication and public speaking skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
