Join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a Band 5 Registered Nurse in their Dermatology Outpatients Department. Deliver person-centred care while developing specialized dermatology nursing skills. In this role, you will work across the South Sector’s dermatology units, primarily at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, with opportunities for cross-working at Gartnavel General and Recent Victoria Hospitals.
Your focus will be on providing excellent care to patients with diverse dermatological conditions and working collaboratively with a multi-skilled team for effective service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Support consultant-led and nurse-led dermatology clinics
Assist in outpatient clinics and perform venepuncture
Provide phototherapy and topical treatments
Support patch testing and dermatological surgical sessions
Collaborate with the nursing team for comprehensive patient care Requirements:
NMC Registered Nurse status
Desirable previous dermatology experience
Solid motivation for dermatology specialty
Full training will be provided
Desire to develop specialty skills Contribute to high-quality dermatological care while advancing your nursing expertise with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
