As a crucial member of the Community and School Therapy Team, you're responsible for providing physiotherapy services within the Central Health Zone. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care, monitoring progress, and participating in service evaluations. Your role requires travel to various schools and community settings while staying current with best practices in pediatric rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and intervene for children with developmental disabilities • Supervise Rehabilitation Assistants as needed • Collaborate with families and school staff for transitions • Maintain documentation as per guidelines • Participate in planning and evaluation of services
Requirements: • Graduate of a Canadian-accredited Physiotherapy Program • Licensed or eligible in Nova Scotia • Minimum two years of clinical rehabilitation experience • Knowledge of best practices in pediatric therapy • Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia Driver’s License
