As a Youth Clinician, you will apply your Master’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences or Social Work to guide youth towards recovery from mental health and substance use challenges. The position focuses on building trust and assessing psychosocial needs to develop individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychosocial assessments and individual treatment
• Develop targeted plans for youth addressing substance misuse
• Lead psychoeducation family sessions and parent groups
• Collaborate with educational and community resources
• Participate in meetings and quality improvement efforts
Requirements:
• Master’s in Behavioral Sciences or Social Work
• Three years’ experience in youth counselling
• Current BC Driver’s License
• In-depth knowledge of mental health treatment protocols
• Skilled in crisis intervention and effective communication
