Role Description This in office Chiropractor role is located at the Oshawa, ON clinic. The Chiropractor will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with spine and musculoskeletal conditions, using chiropractic adjustments and other evidence-informed techniques. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, documenting clinical findings, and collaborating with physiotherapists, massage therapists, and other providers to optimize patient outcomes.
The Chiropractor will educate patients on posture, ergonomics, exercise, and lifestyle strategies to support long-term health and function.
This position involves maintaining professional standards, participating in clinic initiatives, and contributing to a positive, inclusive patient experience.
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of the spine and musculoskeletal system, with the ability to assess and manage related conditions.
Competence in chiropractic techniques, including safe and effective adjustments and manual therapies.
Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution and current licensure (or eligibility for licensure) with the appropriate regulatory body in Ontario.
Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and documentation skills, with a commitment to evidence-informed practice.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and build trust with diverse patients.
Ability to practice in a skilled, non-discriminatory, and patient-centered manner, respecting all backgrounds and identities.
Experience in rehabilitation, sports injuries, or chronic pain management is an asset.
Willingness to participate in continuing education and clinic-based quality improvement initiatives.
