Duties
Perform detailed inspections to identify mechanical issues in automobiles and marine vessels.
Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other vehicle components.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and belt replacements.
Diagnose complex problems using diagnostic equipment and mechanical knowledge to determine necessary repairs.
Maintain accurate service records, documenting all work performed for quality assurance and customer transparency.




Follow safety procedures diligently to ensure a secure working setting during all repair activities.
Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Skills
Solid mechanical knowledge of automotive and marine engine systems.
Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and socket sets.
Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in a repair setting.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and accurately using diagnostic equipment.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
Good communication skills to explain repairs clearly to customers or team members.
Willingness to learn current techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
