Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure effective food preparation and service
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food handling, safety procedures, and cleanliness
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards
Develop new menu items in collaboration with management to enhance customer experience
Train and mentor team members in cooking techniques, food presentation, and customer service




Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth serving of meals
Monitor kitchen workflow to optimize productivity during peak hours

Qualifications
Proven experience in cooking, food preparation, and restaurant service
Supervising experience within a hospitality or food service workplace
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
Excellent understanding of kitchen operations, including food industry standards and hospitality practices
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience in restaurant management or team management is preferred
Passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu development
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude towards serving guests
