Shipyard Boilermakers, Shipfitters, Fabricator - $107.35 LOA + Paid Flights + Housing - $59.29/hr - North Vancouver, BC

This contract prospect seeks experienced Shipfitters and Metal Fabricators to join a major union shipbuilding project in North Vancouver, BC. Workers will contribute to vessels for the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Coast Guard, enjoying excellent wages, double-time overtime, and full relocation support. The ideal candidates are certified tradespeople with strong shipbuilding or heavy industrial experience, ready to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused workplace.

Living Out Allowance (LOA): $107.35/day (Month 1), $85.07/day (Month 2), $56.76/day (Month 3+)

Relocation expenses reimbursed after first week worked
Contract runs July 2026 – October 2026,



with potential for extension
Security clearance opportunity (valid up to 10 years)

What You’ll Need
Valid Journeyperson Metal Fabricator or Boilermaker certification (Red Seal preferred)
Minimum 4 years of metal fabrication, fitting, structural steel, or shipbuilding experience
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints
Experience fitting and assembling structural steel components
Experience using common fabrication tools and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full PPE required
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (no LMIA or work permit sponsorship)
Background and security checks required
Willingness to relocate to North Vancouver for contract duration
