This role supports the Oil Sands Monitoring Program's Data Services initiatives by utilizing Power BI to design dashboards and optimize data models. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights while ensuring compliance with data accuracy standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create visual analytics and scorecards with Power BI
• Manage data pipelines and maintain optimized models
• Gather reporting requirements from business units
• Present findings in executive-friendly formats
• Implement security measures and performance tuning in Power BI
Requirements:
• Experience in dashboard development with Power BI
• Robust knowledge of DAX and data modeling techniques
• Capability to manage data quality and governance
• Provide own equipment compatible with Azure Virtual Desktop
• Prior experience in deep-dive analytics
