Responsibilities
On behalf of West Nova Fuels, the Manager, Sales & Business Development will lead the commercial and residential fuels sales function across Central and Western Nova Scotia. The role includes developing short‑and‑long term sales plans aligned with company objectives, coaching and supporting a field team, managing territories and sales targets, overseeing lead development and funnel performance, championing the use of CRM tools for accurate reporting, and ensuring data‑driven decision making.

The Manager will also oversee marketing initiatives that support growth—campaigns, digital presence, and community engagement—and collaborate closely with operations, finance, and customer service to provide a seamless customer experience from initial contact through onboarding and ongoing service.



Maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and staying informed on market trends and competitive activity across Nova Scotia will be essential.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in B2B or field sales, with proven success leading and developing teams.

Solid foundation in fuel distribution, petroleum, propane or related industrial sectors is an asset.

Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly within Nova Scotia.

Self‑confident communicator and collaborator who can translate business goals into clear, actionable plans.

Results‑oriented mindset, robust accountability, and a genuine focus on customer relationships.
