We are currently seeking applicants for a Associate Optometrist position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application, if you are interested.
Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and eye health.
Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.
Prescribe and fit corrective lenses (glasses and contact lenses) based on patient needs and lifestyle considerations.
Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing ocular surgeries.
Educate patients on proper eye care techniques, lens options, and available treatments.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed for holistic patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in optometric practices and participate in continuing education prospects.
Requirements Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
Active license to practice optometry in Alberta, Canada.
Demonstrated clinical proficiency and competence in performing eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions.




Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach to care.
Ability to work effectively within a team-based healthcare environment.
