Norpak Handling Limited was honoured once again at the 2004 Business Excellence Awards. This year they won the award for Excellence in Manufacturing. In the past years Norpak has be honoured with awards in Small and Medium Business. The evening honours businesses that demonstrate xcellence in such areas as customer service, business philosophy, community involvement, employee training, technical innovation and safety programs.
In 2004 Norpak introduced an internship program where recent graduates are brought into the company and spend 3 to 4 months in each company department from sales to engineering, project management, administration and installation services. We currently have 2 engineering graduates enrolled in our program. Upon completion they have a better understanding of where their interests lie and the career paths open to them.
Norpak gains the interest and enthusiasm of a recent graduate as well as their knowledge of the latest engineering techniques.
