This senior role focuses on developing policies aligned with First Nations priorities. You will conduct research, make recommendations, and support the implementation of strategic objectives. The position involves occasional travel as you build impactful relationships within First Nations communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze complex statistical and qualitative data on First Nations issues
• Develop and support key policy initiatives with stakeholders
• Make recommendations for policy and program improvements
• Maintain relevant datasets and information repositories
• Facilitate consultations and meetings with stakeholders
Requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years in policy analysis and research
• Robust experience in First Nations communities and issues
• Proven ability to write reports and proposals
• In-depth understanding of housing and infrastructure challenges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
