As an Aircraft Technician Avionics you will keep our aircraft airborne by carrying out maintenance and repair work on the sophisticated electronic and on-board avionics. What will you do? Give the pilot real-time access to comprehensive battle-space information, and the ability to share sensor data, and actionable information

Ensure the high performance of aircraft radar, communication, reconnaissance and target acquisition equipment

Repair on-board technologies that select, arm and release weapons

Maintain the systems that generate and distribute electricity on aircraft

Provide engineering support to aircraft systems that are operated whilst in flight, or provide aircraft engineering support when the aircraft is deployed





Travel overseas to support RAF aircraft and equipment on operations and exercises Requirements at a glance Be aged 16 – 47 years old (Must attest before 48th birthday)

As a minimum, you will need GCSE's at grade C/4 or Scottish National 5's at grade C in English Language, Mathematics and an approved Science / Technology based subject.
