SLR Consulting seeks a dedicated Geochemist to join our western Canada team. In this role, you will engage in projects related to Acid Rock Drainage and support various assessments in Canada and abroad. Collaboration with hydrogeologists and data interpretation are key aspects of your work, along with prospects to travel for field assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret geochemical data and static testing results
• Work with scientists to develop water balance models
• Document methodologies and report on environmental impacts
• Participate in project planning and QA/QC processes
Requirements:
• Minimum five years of relevant geochemistry experience
• Eligible for qualified registration (P.Geo. or P.Eng.)
• Academic degree in relevant fields
• Familiar with Canadian mining guidelines
• Valid driver's license for travel when needed
