Software Engineer (ACS Application) – Mississauga, ON, Canada

Key Responsibilities
Communicate verbally and in writing with NCRV customers to understand and document requirements.
Analyze requirements and propose solutions that meet customer needs.
Develop a detailed design to implement the proposed solution efficiently.
Estimate projected effort accurately to support profitable project delivery.
Document test cases at unit and integration levels.
Develop code and/or lead programming efforts, whether onshore or offshore.
Oversee offshore testing activities to ensure code functions as intended.
Provide support for the code if issues are reported.
Adhere to estimated effort while delivering high‑quality software on schedule.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in C/C++ development, including use of Visual Studio (6, 2003, 2005 & 2008), Visual Basic, MS Access, Java, Perl scripting, PowerShell, and OS image creation.
Strong MS Windows programming experience.
Solid oral and written communication skills,



with ability to converse directly with customers and produce documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Understanding of HTML, XML, and HTTP communications.
Experience integrating current hardware with existing OS images.
Familiarity with archiving practices via GitHub.
