Become a key player in Pollard Banknote's Corporate Engineering team as a Process Improvement Engineer in Winnipeg, specializing in Controls and Automation. Enhance our manufacturing capabilities with your expertise.
You will report directly to the Director of Corporate Engineering, leading automation projects and continuous improvement strategies. Collaborating with internal and external teams, you'll develop project plans, ensure effective implementation, and promote best practices across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize control systems to reduce waste and downtime • Develop automated processes through design and programming • Work with engineers to identify process improvement prospects • Troubleshoot equipment and process control system issues • Conduct studies for automation project feasibility
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in an engineering discipline • 2+ years in a manufacturing role • Familiarity with process control regulatory standards • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies • Travel within Canada and the USA is required
