Senior Professional, Engineering - Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) Design

Responsibilities
Lead a team of EWIS 3D designers on critical projects.
Be responsible for the Electrical Wiring Integrated System (EWIS) in the Digital Mock‑Up (DMU).
Develop EWIS strategy and new harness concepts for current and recent development programs.
Integrate EWIS with system, cabinet, and structure groups internally or externally.
Provide technical support on change‑management implementation (RFC, PCR).
Contribute by participating in other tasks depending on program needs and demonstrate flexibility to adapt.

Qualifications
College or university degree in Avionics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience in 3D design.
10 to 15 years of relevant working experience in aerospace.
Over 10 years of CATIA V5 experience in harness routing; having NX harness‑routing experience would be an asset.
Wiring design, wiring installation,



and/or wiring troubleshooting experience and familiarity with ECAD (Capital tools & processes).
Familiarity with FAR Part 25 subpart H and the certification rules addressing EWIS.
Familiarity with SAE‑AS50881 covering all aspects of EWIS.
Strong sense of responsibility and good organization skills.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read/write in French and English.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
Familiarity with BM’s, RAE documents, and BAPS related to harnesses.
Innovative and open to new ideas.
