Country Compliance and Operational Risk (C∨) Manager

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (CA - Toronto - 181 BAY ST)

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain independent risk management reporting for coverage areas.
Support oversight of FLU/CF training, including content development, tracking, and communication of completion rates.
Assist in development and maintenance of C∨‑owned policies and standards, and oversee FLU/CF‑owned policies and procedures.
Monitor regulatory setting, maintain regulatory inventory, and support communication of changes.
Identify, aggregate, report, and challenge remediation plans; perform thematic analysis on FLU/CF‑owned issues and control enhancements.
Contribute to or lead development of risk coverage plans, execute monitoring, testing, and risk assessments, and communicate results.
Review and challenge regional contributions to FLU/CF process, risk and control inventory, and Risk & Control Self‑Assessment (RCSA).




Support review and challenge of internal and external operational loss events and develop remediation plans to strengthen controls.
Support scenario analysis activities for coverage areas.

Qualifications
University degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in securities at a financial institution.
Compliance experience in futures and fixed‑income trading.
Compliance experience in equities trading is an asset.
French language skills would be an asset.
Project management experience.

Perks
Annual salary range: $117,000.00 – $157,000.00, offer determined by experience, education and skill set.
Eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan.
