Accomplished part‑time (0.2 FTE) palliative care physician to support a 15‑month parental leave (Sept 2026 – Jan 2028). You will work alongside other palliative care physicians to provide consultation services to acute care and community‑based patients across the Fraser Health Authority.
Qualifications
Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Preference to candidates who have completed additional training in palliative medicine:
One‑year enhanced‑skills residency and Certificate of Added Competence through the College of Family Physicians of Canada, or
Two‑year Royal College subspecialty in Palliative Medicine.
Remuneration
Service contract with a provincially set rate, including Alternative Payment Plan, MOCAP – On‑Call Payments, and potential relocation reimbursement of up to $10,000.
Facility
Royal Columbian Hospital – one of three regional hospitals in Fraser Health providing high‑level services. The hospital is undergoing redevelopment, expanding prospects for palliative care services.
