Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Bilingual BrokerAccounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for providing financial andadministrative support to ensure the accurate processing of payments,collections, and broker account activities.

This role supports brokers, insureds, and internal stakeholdersacross multiple regions and plays a key role in maintaining efficient accountsreceivable operations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Process incoming payments and prepare bank deposits.
- Apply payments received for PAC (Pre-Authorized Chequing) andDirect Bill policies.
- Process banking changes, withdrawal date changes, and billingamendments.
- Manage returned payments (NSF) and perform required accountfollow-up.
- Prepare registered letters, lapse notices, and otheraccount-related correspondence.
- Respond to inquiries from brokers, insureds, and underwritingteams.
- Assist with account reconciliation and collection activities.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
- Support special projects and departmental initiatives asrequired.

Qualifications





- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written), as thisrole supports brokers, insureds, and internal stakeholders across Canada.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration,Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education andexperience.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounting,insurance operations, or an administrative support role is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to ateam setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularlyExcel and Outlook.
