You will report to the Captain, assuming responsibility for the safe management of the deck department. Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety of passengers and crew onboard
• Prepare the vessel for daily operational activities
• Oversee maintenance of lifesaving equipment
• Maintain comprehensive operational records
• Train and supervise junior deck crew effectively
Requirements:
• Chief Officer Near Coastal or Unlimited certification
• Possession of a Seafarers Medical Certificate
• Radio Operator certification necessary
• Must hold various STCW certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills mandatory
