On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Job Description

The project involves managing updates to the Messaging Back Office (MBO) application with a focus on Azure migration. The role requires robust technical knowledge in Azure and Angular to support this migration effort.

Responsibilities
Provide support and produce detailed system requirements and technical/functional specifications.
Develop effective solutions by analyzing current system capabilities and defining technology solutions.
Define, document, and translate business requirements into detailed user stories.
Support testing teams by translating requirements into test conditions and results.
Participate in agile ceremonies and activities, including standups and story refinements.
Collaborate with pod members and stakeholders to determine solutions and assess impacts.




Ensure best practices related to the BSA discipline are adhered to within project processes.

Mandatory Skills
7 years of BSA experience
5 years of delivery experience
5 years of Agile experience
5 years of experience with Jira/Confluence
3 years of recent experience with API calls, Angular, Java, Azure

Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in banking
Knowledge of Behavior Driven Design (BDD)
Experience with quality management reviews
Experience in coaching and guiding team members
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Assignment Length

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Assignment Location

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days a week onsite, moving to 4 days a week in the office as of February 17.
