Reporting to the Executive Director and working with the Infection Control Manager, you will be pivotal in managing the home's infection prevention and control initiatives. Your responsibilities will include conducting education sessions, facilitating audits, and analyzing compliance with health protocols. Through effective communication and leadership, you will support a culture of safety and compliance throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation of IPAC education across the home
• Conduct audits on infection control practices and report findings




• Participate in outbreak response and management initiatives
• Perform routine surveillance for infectious diseases
• Collaborate with public health and internal teams for best practices
Requirements:
• Experience in infectious disease management and education
• Minimum one year in long-term care healthcare roles
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Solid skills in team building and motivation
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis
