Regional Controller – Western U.S. (Onsite - OR/CA)
Compensation: $200–250K DOE + ~30% target bonus
HSA/FSA
401(k) match + profit sharing
Locations: Multiple West Coast/Western U.S. sites in Oregon and California
Travel: ~25%
Schedule: Fully onsite
About the Role
A large, multi‑state industrial operator is seeking a Regional Controller to lead accounting, financial operations, and planning across several West Region business units. This role partners directly with regional leadership and oversees state controllers, FP&A; support, and financial systems across a complex, growth‑oriented organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead regional accounting, financial reporting, and operating controls
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, ROI modeling, and cash flow
Serve as the primary financial partner to operations leadership
Support full‑cycle M&A;: due diligence through integration
Standardize processes, policies, and reporting across the region
Manage internal/external audits within a regulated controls workplace
Develop and mentor controllers, analysts, and finance/IT staff
Support ERP optimization, reporting tools, and system enhancements
What You Bring
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
10+ years experience, including leadership over multi‑entity operations
Robust GAAP knowledge; experience with SOX or similar controls
Background in construction, asset‑heavy, project‑driven, or manufacturing‑style industries
Track record leading teams and partnering with executives
Willingness to travel and work onsite full‑time
Preferred:
CPA
Experience with M&A; and integration
Large ERP experience
Prior oversight of multi‑state P&Ls;
