This position seeks a knowledgeable Registered Nurse with a passion for mental health care. You will provide nursing to patients with concurrent disorders, facilitate crisis assessments, and support care coordination within a team-oriented framework. Your experience navigating consent laws and maintaining health information compliance will ensure high-quality patient care across various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Care for individuals with mental illness effectively
• Perform crisis assessment and intervention
• Collaborate across teams for optimal care
• Document in accordance with PHIPA guidelines
• Conduct patient health promotion and education
Requirements:
• Current CNO registration
• Minimum 7 years of relevant RN experience
• Background in inpatient psychiatric care
• Knowledge of the Health Care Consent Act
• RN diploma or BScN and BLS certification
