Polycorp Ltd. is the industry leader in the design and manufacture of engineered polymer products for a global customer base in the Transportation, Mining and Protective Linings industries. We are currently seeking to fill a full-time position in our Maintenance Department.

Responsible for productive and safe performance of facility, including all plant equipment and related functions by completing corrective and preventative maintenance activities.

DUTIES
Respond in a timely manner to machine breakdown to maximize equipment uptime
Respond in a timely manner to emergency “call in” for facility and equipment repairs
Maintain plant electrical cabinets, motors, brushes, disconnects, lighting as required
Complete prescribed corrective and preventative maintenance as assigned
Assist with engineering and continuous improvement development of electrical standards
Work with other contractors as required
Keep work area orderly and clean




Manage and estimate various projects and scope of work
Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Ability to teach, guide and lead the service team
Ability to handle multiple contracts while under pressure
Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner

REQUIREMENTS
442 A electrical license
5 years experience as an Electrician

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLES
Electrical / Mechanical troubleshooting
PLC programming
Pension (Match up to 5 + 1%)
