Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role by actively contributing to the mission of the O&M; department, which is to ensure the safety and efficiency of passenger mobility. The selected candidate will report to the Director of Operations and will be part of the O&M; team responsible for operating and maintaining the system and the entire network for a 30-year period. Responsibilities
Establish a process for managing operational documents, including their management, archiving and classification of regulatory documentation. Participate in the development, implementation and documentation of regulatory manuals for the operations. Keep all documentation up to date to ensure the secure and efficient operations. Draft Operations Bulletins to temporarily amend regulations. Manage documentation updates based on client changes and operational experience. Propose improvements to work methods and ensure that issues raised by operators are properly analyzed. Ensure that the rail operations plan complies with safety standards and policies, and promote a healthy and safe work setting through a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
Contribute to the adaptation of training modules based on documentation updates. Qualifications
Proven ability to write procedures. Minimum five years of experience in operations, ideally in the transportation sector (railway experience is an asset). Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. Solid commitment to safety rules and procedures. Excellent computer skills and ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
