The Town of Okotoks is seeking a committed Arena Operator for permanent part-time employment. Your responsibilities will include maintaining ice surfaces, ensuring safety in recreation areas, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll also assist with crowd control and basic security, and operate the ice-resurfacing machine.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain ice surfaces using the resurfacing machine
• Provide general maintenance and plumbing repairs
• Ensure safety of arenas and facilities
• Deliver excellent customer service to facility users
• Open and close recreation centres as needed
Requirements:
• High School diploma with relevant certification
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with clean record
• Willingness to obtain Arena Operator Level 1
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
