Substitute Educational Assistants

Substitute Educational Assistants work on an on-call, casual basis to support students when regular staff are unavailable. The Substitute Educational Assistant works under the supervision of a certificated teacher.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a classroom setting would be an asset
- You have the ability to meet outside of school hours.
- You have the ability to work as part of a team in a team-oriented environment.
- You have the ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks,



as well as assist with personal care.

A current Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Check), dated within the last six months, is a condition of employment.

Terms and conditions of employment are outlined in Policy GGG: Personnel Policy for Non-Teaching Staff. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $20.66/hour to $27.20/hour.
