Out client is a brokerage specializing in importing and exporting between Canada and the US. They are growing and are looking to augment their IT department with 2 application developers.

These individuals will think creatively and possess extensive experience in Visual Studio .NET, C#, VB, and ASP for Windows and the Internet. You will carry out major development tasks and work in a team workplace on complex enterprise level business applications. Experience in customs, importing, exporting, logistics, supply chain and transportation is considered an asset.

Education Requirements

4 Year University Degree in Applied Computer Science or equivalent 3 Year College Diploma

Experience Requirements

5 years experience with c#, vb.net developing both client windows and web based software.

5+ years experience with SQL Server trigger and stored procedure development

Competent with VBScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate technical constructs in user-friendly manner

Excellent listening and interpersonal skills

Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail
