This role centers on assisting youth who may have faced various challenges, such as trauma or housing instability. You will provide essential support in life skills like budgeting and meal preparation while helping them connect with vital community resources. Building trusting relationships will be crucial to encouraging their personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor youth in financial literacy and tenancy skills
• Provide guidance on nutrition and meal budgeting
• Help access housing, healthcare, and education resources
• Create and evaluate individualized transition goals
• Document progress and maintain detailed reports
Requirements:
• Two years of experience with vulnerable populations
• Certificate in Social Work or related field preferred
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Knowledge of supportive community resources
• Valid Class 5F Driver’s License and dependable vehicle
