In this role, reporting to the Patient Care Manager, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to care for critically ill patients in ICUs and the Emergency Department. The focus is on delivering patient-centered care while adhering to the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario. Flexibility is essential as you adapt to varying unit assignments based on staffing needs and patient requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans
• Advocate for patients and provide necessary education
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings
• Support patient care in both ICU and Emergency Department
• Utilize critical thinking for effective patient management
Requirements:
• Registration with Ontario College of Nurses required
• BCLS certificate mandatory; ACLS preferred
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
• Critical Care Certificate preferred or relevant experience
• Commitment to recent continuing education
