As an Elementary Counselor, you will address the needs of approximately 350 students by delivering direct counseling services and collaborating with educational staff. Applicants should have a valid BC Teaching certificate, paired with a Master’s in Counseling or Educational Psychology, ensuring you offer quality support and guidance. Your expertise will be vital for individual and group counseling.

Key Responsibilities:



• Offer counseling services to students and families • Work alongside teachers to enhance classroom environments • Participate in team meetings to discuss student needs • Develop and monitor IEPs for designated students • Ensure confidentiality in managing student records

Requirements: • BC Teaching certificate is a must • Relevant teaching or counseling experience preferred • Master's degree in Counseling Psychology is required • Successful completion of a counseling practicum • Skill in performing behavioral assessments needed
