As an engineering expert, you will be pivotal in designing overhead transmission lines up to 765 kV. Your responsibilities will include utilizing PLS-CADD for system modeling and ensuring high-quality deliverables adhere to CSA and IEEE standards. You'll take on the role of mentor while coordinating with various teams and engaging in business development to enhance client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design overhead transmission lines with detailed analysis
• Support structure designs in various materials
• Implement modeling using PLS software tools
• Generate comprehensive engineering deliverables
• Provide field support during project execution
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
• P.Eng. licensed in a Canadian province
• Over 10 years of experience in overhead line engineering
• Proficient with PLS-CADD and utility standards
• Excellent command of English and French as assets
