This position requires a Red Seal in Truck and Transport or Heavy-Duty Mechanics. You will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and maintaining precise documentation of your work. Collaborating with junior technicians to uphold safety standards is a critical component of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on various diesel engines
• Conduct preventive maintenance as needed
• Document repairs, timesheets, and quality claims
• Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area
• Train less experienced technicians in safety practices
Requirements:
• Red Seal Heavy-Duty Mechanics certification is essential
• Locally valid driving permit required
• CVI and Class 3 licenses are assets
• Experience with diesel engines preferred
• OEM dealer experience is a plus
