Senior Electrical Engineer – Arnprior, ON

We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of high-performance electrical and embedded systems.

You’ll take ownership of complex projects, drive technical decisions, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team. This role is primarily on‑site in Arnprior, ON, with some flexibility for focused work from home.

What You’ll Do
Lead the end‑to‑end design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, control, and embedded electronics
Architect integrated hardware/software solutions and system‑level designs
Oversee verification, validation,



and certification activities (DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD, etc.)
Guide and mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices
Collaborate directly with clients to define requirements, present designs, and provide technical guidance
Identify and solve complex design challenges across multidisciplinary projects

What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (master’s preferred)
7+ years of skilled experience in electrical design, embedded systems, or power electronics
Proven experience with CAD tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence, or similar)
Deep understanding of hardware/software integration and system‑level design
Expertise with certification standards (DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD)
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation abilities
Eligible for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP)
