Job Description

4 DAY WORK WEEK, MONDAY - THURSDAY, 7:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.

Metal Stamping/Fabrication Industry Experience Required.

Responsibilities

- Install ,examine, replace test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electric wiring, fixture, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, control devices and other electrical components
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical equipment
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
- Maintain, repair, install and test switch gear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, etc..
- Repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical/electronic control systems and other related devices




- Direct and train other workers and apprentices to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs through inspection of electric systems and keep maintenance records
- Work well as a team member in all situations
- Programming PLC
- Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, provincial and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications
- Follow quality management systems policy, procedures and work instructions manuals as per ISO requirements

Qualifications

- Certificate of Qualification 442A or 309A
- 3-5 years' previous experience working in a Metal Stamping/Fabrication facility.
