Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and underwrite new and renewal business
• Negotiate terms between brokers and insurers
• Inspect and review recommendations for risks
• Maintain relationships with brokers for top-tier service
• Provide insights and instructions to underwriting assistants
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years in commercial insurance
• Robust background in property underwriting
• AEC, DEC, or insurance broker’s license preferred
• CRM, CIP, FCIP designations are advantageous
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
