Sault Area Hospital is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the Allied Health team. This full-time role spans various patient care settings, focusing on rehabilitation and functional recovery.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide assessments, treatment, and program evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Your responsibilities will include designing tailored intervention plans and collaborating with other healthcare specialists to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. You will support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals and improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized assessments and treatment plans
• Screen patients and manage high-priority cases




• Collaborate with families in the treatment processes
• Oversee Occupational Therapy Assistants in delivering care
• Stay updated on best practices and legislative standards
Requirements:
• Accreditation from an occupational therapy program
• Current or eligible registration with COTO
• Solid interpersonal and organizational capabilities
• Familiarity with community resources
• Active participation in qualified audits and development
