Join Agnico Eagle's team as a Development Miner and engage in essential underground operations at Detour Lake Mine. This position emphasizes safety, technology, and effective teamwork.

As a Development Miner, you will report to the Underground Operations Mine Supervisor and work predominantly with Dynominer and ANFO lateral loaders. Your role will include ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, conducting equipment inspections, and assisting with water, air, and ventilation services.

Solid teamwork and effective communication in English are essential for success in this engaging setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate Dynominer and ANFO lateral loaders safely
Conduct daily inspections of operation equipment
Load, blast rounds,



and prepare production stopes
Maintain safety and quality standards during operations
Assist in ventilation and air services implementation

Requirements:
Minimum 2000 hours on Dynominer equipment
4000 hours in relevant development work
Ontario underground common core certification
Strong English communication skills
Capable of working in a multicultural teamwork workplace
